Flawless artistry and labor go into hand-crafting a barrel, each piece selected with care before aging outdoors for 6-12 months. The craftsman then torches the wood to bring out the incredible wood grain patters that will make the whiskey barrel wood so renowned. You can still smell the whiskey in the wood, which is cut into cubes and prepped for the ring. After finishing and sealing, no whiskey scent remains, though its unique markings will stand out.
